Welcome to Volunteer Vacation in Træna!

This year, we invite you to join us for a unique volunteer experience on Norway’s spectacular Helgeland coast. Enjoy free accommodation in beautiful surroundings in exchange for helping out with important community and environmental projects. Become part of our vibrant island community as you participate in volunteer work, experience the local environment and cultural heritage, and socialise with locals and guests. Træna is Norway’s oldest fishing village and one of its most fascinating island destinations.

Dates: 4.-7. sept 2025
Where: Træna Islands in Northern Norway
What you get: Free accommodation in House by the Sea, Træna Overnatting or other guesthouses, Transportation during the stay, Food (not all meals are included), New friends, and a great experience.
What we ask for: Volunteering work arranged by our team leaders. 10-15 hours during the stay. You arrange your travel to Træna. (We will help you with finding the right boat routes!)
